All these god damned projects are breaking me apart.
The stress level shot up just by looking at the deadlines itself.

I have been thinking of moving to livejournal for the longest time but it is not exactly the friendliest space around to blog with the limited photos I can save on the website.
Maybe I should diligently upload all my photos into photobucket then it will be so much easier!
Ive been very busy after coming back from HongKong. On the same day I came back, I headed to King's place for BBQ with the class. The food was awesome, though some were burnt and some were uncooked. And then the latenight games and drinking and laughing like mad.
Other than that, there is nothing worth mentioning because the hours are spent on projects, work and more projects.
There are so many projects due in the month of July and it is not funny how we are struggling to finish up one when another one is pressing for our attention.
After the 31July, I will delete away all the files in my 'Project' folder.
Work is not too bad though it is only a matter of time before I get sick of it. But work = money and I need alot of the latter so I got to work, whether I like it or not.
My appetite grew ever since the Hong Kong trip and I am looking for food every few hours. It is scary because I took my weight when I brought my sister to the doctor this afternoon and was shocked by the amount of weight I piled on within 11 days.
The roastduck/bbqed pork rice, Pizza Hut and Curry House are nestled nicely in various parts of my body and now, I have to think of ways to get rid of them.
Boyfriend is in Taiwan now and I wish I was there because I am missing the yeshi food and the shopping! He will be back soon and I am eagerly counting down. I miss him like I havent seen him for months.
I want to meet up with all the friends but everyone is busy with school/work etc and it sucks because I miss them all and its been two weeks since I last saw the usual.
BUT tomorrow I will be going out with Lisa to find hostel for her Aussie boyfriend when he comes over to visit. It is going to be fun because we will explore Chinatown and I love walking down the streets and looking at those old buildings that hold a millions stories and memories.
I was looking through pictures and realised that it has been so long since I went out with the sister and spending quality time together.
Shes the sweetest and most annoying sister around but I love her just the same.
I think I have a lot of love in me because I love my family, my boyfriend and all my friends!

Its been almost a week in HongKong and I am enjoying everyday to the fullest!
Great activities, great food and most importantly, great companionship! There are many firsts this trip and these beautiful memories will go a long way.
The flight to Hong Kong was fine though I wish there were more movies to watch and the lady sitting by the window did not go to the toilet so many times in that few hours.
I wanted to surprise the boyfriend but I am not that good a liar with him so I met him at Causeway Bay where he stays and headed for supper at a
cha can teng near SoGo that sells youtiao wrapped in rice and really nice soyabean drink.
I am not very adventurous when it comes to food and I am always eating the same old thing. Back in Singapore, I can have bakchormee everyday and here in HongKong, I am always having lemon tea and che zai mian. Boyfriend said that I should try local food such as egg tarts and some of the dishes in the cha can teng but I am not a big fan of egg tart and moreover, the food here doesnt digest well. I remembered the first time I came here which was about a year ago, I constipated for the entire trip and felt so bloated and sick towards the end of the week. If there is one thing other than my family and friends to keep me in Singapore, it would be the food and the chilli which I simply cannot live without.
The night ended after dinner and it was home sweet home.
Lunch on Friday was at Pizza Hut and I was spoiled for choice with the wide varieties of interesting dishes they offer here and we ended up ordering too much for just the two of us.
But we managed to finish up almost everything in the end and I left the restaurant feeling as if my shorts has just gone a size smaller.
Then it was to the movie - Fantastic Four which I really liked but the boyfriend thought the plot was stupid. Back home for a nap before heading out to LanKwaiFong where the night of crazy partying and drinking began. And it was at the pub where I found out about the 'surprise' boyfriend has planned for the weekend. In exchange for the surprise element, I got myself prepared for the boat trip the next day by trying to get the bikini and other necessities which I did not bring along.
The boat trip was plenty of fun from the food to the wind in the hair to having strawberries while baking in the sun at the deck to listening to MP3 and cuddling with boyfriend till I dozed off to the choppy sea and feeling seasick to the watching people jumping into the sea to swim to the beach for food while I choose to be wimpy and guniang by staying on the boat to snack to riding on a jetski to meet up with the rest to the lazy afternoon on the boat and finally, the fantastic and cheap seafood at Lamma island.
The last time I was out on sea was eons ago when I went to Bintan with my family. It was puking from the moment the boat started till we reached Bintan and from then on, I didn't like the idea of being on the sea.
But the boat trip was much fun without any throwing up though I did feel a bit sick when the boat was going against the currents and rocking so hard, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride in Ocean Park.

ShenZhen on Sunday and it was eye opening! The shopping there was madness and the bargaining was a challenge. Boyfriend and I shopped till he dropped and then back to HongKong for dinner.
Well, I obviously did not have enough of these crazy shopping in ShenZhen so I met up with CHERLYNN LOW on Monday to go ShenZhen while boyfriend went to work. We met, got excited, went onto the train, camwhored, laughed like mad women, reached ShenZhen, got excited over ShenZhen's metro, shopped and bargained to our very last breathe, went for massage before going back to HongKong. I left ShenZhen with a huge bag of shopping and gosh, I was SO satisfied. Like Cherlynn said, the clothes we got could last us for months!
It was so much fun having a friend around and Cherlynn is the ultimate shopping and touring partner!
She headed back to the hotel while I met my sweet boyfriend for dinner and we had duck rice which was so fabulous, I went back for it again the next day.
Heheh

Tuesday was Dumpling Festival and people here declared it as a public holiday. Boyfriend and I spent quality time together, doing shopping in Ikea, shopping in the new mall and having dinner together.
The day ended so fast with him around and I wished there was 48hours in a day so we can spend more time together. :)
I went around HongKong today and despite visiting here for so many times, I had my first experience on a TingTing. I wanted to go to Central but I saw this street bustling with activities on my way so I hopped off the TingTing and explored the market which I found out later was in WanChai.
HongKong has all these markets and streets where there is just about almost everything sold there and I simply love it!
It feels so good walking down, going to the different stalls and seeing all these interesting things they sell.
It was then to Central where I took the StarFerry to TsimShaTshui and the skyline was breathtaking. I snapped and snapped and almost forgot about the ferry ride.
I went around TST looking for the Space Museum when it was just 5mins away from the Ferry Pier. Watched 'Mystic of India' and dozed off midway. Wanted to go to the Flower Market but did not have enough time so I headed back to CWB for Sushi Tei with baby.
HongKong is so much fun this time round.. I dont really want to go back to Singapore. I want boyfriend with me everyday!

I logged on to blogger at least once every two days but I always left without a post because my mind has this tendency to release all these thoughts all at once which dampened my initial enthusiasm to blog about them.
A good part of the common test week was spent on the marketing research project. It was much fun albeit mentally draining. The lunches were as enjoyable as they were sinful with the amount of calories we were consuming per minute.
And the nonsensical talks and laughters brought down the stress level which was pretty good.
Aileen was really helpful and I am so thankful for her or the formatting would have killed me and of course everyone else especially the leaders who came down for meetings for three days straight.
So after one whole crazy week of compiling, discussing, debating, editing and waiting, the questionnaire is finaly approved and I will start my fieldwork tomorrow!
So hopefully all go well and I can have fun in HongKong without having to think of MRSH for a week!
Was supposed to leave for HongKong on Sunday but I realised I lost my passport hours before my flight. It was a case of irresponsibility and bad luck. Few minutes before I realised I lost my passport, I was mourning over my almost new tube dress which I happened to like very much currently and the moment I decided to stop crying and continue packing, I couldnt find my passport.
Fortunately the flight could be changed to a later date.
This will be my fourth time to HongKong in a year but this trip means a lot to me because boyfriend has decided to choose to fly Taiwan instead of Indonesia and Singapore which means I will not get to see him for a very long time. I have not decided how am I going to spend months without seeing him but I guess I will learn as I move along.
It sure aint going to be easy but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going so it is all going to be worth it.
Helen had an advanced birthday celebration on Saturday and we had picnic at Botanic. I really liked it there, soaking in the nature, enjoying the sunshine and looking at the people from different walks of life around us.
We have the simplest food and did the simplest things but the day couldnt get any better.
It was then to the Mind Cafe for boardgames and I was finished 15minutes into the game. How stupid right. I ended up playing some cardgames while waiting for the rest to finish and ended the session with Pictionary.
It has been long time since I played boardgames. When I was much younger, I used to go over to my classmate's house for boardgames. I kinda missed those times but we have drifted apart and the friendship is now barely existing.
We gain some, we lose some.
Ohwell.
Guess thats about it for now.
Will blog when I am in HongKong!

It has been ages since I last blogged.
School is crazy with the deadlines that come one after another and finally, a week of elearning. This is the best week since school started with as little of school as possible.
Marketing Research is done and boy, I am so glad for that. I have never spent hours on a questionnaire before. Seven hours in school on monday and three hours on the phone having conference with the rest.. just for a few silly questions which people might not even want to answer.
Ohwell, all for grades.
Boyfriend came back the past two weeks and I love the time we spent together albeit it was too short and not enough to make up for the rest of the month when he will be away.
We caught a movie, went for a nice dinner at Shunjuu, spent time with the family and dogs, basically loving every minute together.
It is going to be another month before he returns and I am going to spend the time missing him and looking forward to being with him again.
I managed to meet up with many friends recently and it makes me very happy. Cleo is getting married in two months' time and we went to Lavender to get a pretty dress which she looks absolutely fabulous in. The cut and the size compliments her figure and she looks every bit like a bride in bliss.
In slightly more than a week's time, she will be leaving for Perth to be with her fiance. She has finally found her happiness and I thank god for that.
It was to Geylang for food with Kweeyong who finally has time for me just the other day. It was so nice meeting up with her and despite not seeing her for months, I still feel as comfortable with her as ever.

Friends like her is a gem.
Last Thurday was Shyam a.k.a staple friend's birthday. We spent the afternoon cooking and the carbonara was a flop. So we ended up having bolognese which was simple yet heavenly. The steak was good as usual and the cheesecake was saved after more gelatine.
Birthdays need not be anything grand, a gathering like this brings more meaning to the special day.
Zhenli, Xuan and I had an advance birthday celebration for Jieying. We went for dinner at Tongshui which was surprisingly good then off to Clinic where Xuan works. The drinks there are interesting but I am not a big fan of alcohol so I gave it a miss. Headed to Jieying's place after that where we had cake and birthday song at 630am when we were all half asleep.

P.S Boyfriend, I love you!

Second week of school and I am already feeling the pressure from the integrated project we have to submit by the end of the semester, the deadline to meet in a few weeks’ time, the module with too many information to digest…
One more year away to the end of tertiary education and a part of me is dreading it. I wish time will crawl by though this is not exactly the best year for the hour hand to slow down with so many projects that will determine the graduating GPA.
But school is easy and carefree, away from the cynical world where many do things with a hidden agenda. And very soon, it will be hard to trust, to befriend and to be comfortable with each other.
No more stripping off the layer of defense to reveal the innermost thoughts and feelings.
I think I do love school.
I had a sweet holiday to HongKong and Taiwan sometime back and I did shopping which was satisfying.
I will never get tired of shopping in WuFenPu, eating in the YeShi, walking in Causeway Bay, visiting the tourist attractions in HongKong, traveling by MTR, getting fascinated at the never ending crowd crossing the road from SOGO to Lee’s Garden, walking to buy Krispy Kreme, having food at Cha Chan Ting, exploring KowLoon and not forgetting waking up to see boyfriend to work in the morning and looking forward to seeing him after work.
This trip, I visited DisneyLand, Mdm Tussaud, The Peak, Avenue of Stars, Flower Market, Goldfish Market. And explored Wanchai and TST.
I found Espirit Outlets and got myself a few decent tops, got to FaYuen St and found dirtcheap yet decent bags, had cha zai mian for few days and still crave for it every morning.

In Taiwan, I joined a daytour through the hotel and visited JiuFen. It is at the outskirt of Taipei and the view there is breathtaking! It is 100000000times better than going to Taipei 101 and all the shopping places.
It was a personalized trip as I was the only one on the tour and my tourguide, John has such a big personality, it was so fun being around him.
JiuFen is a village at the top of the hill and because everyone there is closely knitted. There are so many cafés there overlooking foot of the hill and people gather together in midafternoon, sipping tea and share stories while enjoying the breeze and view.
There are rather interesting foods, particularly the sweet potatoes coated with maltsugar. The sweet potatoes fell into tiny pieces when bit into, allowing every taste bud to be filled with the subtle sweetness of it.
It was heavenly!
I was dying to buy some home but it could only be stored for three days at most and I was only going back to Singapore in another 6 days’ time.
Ayumi Hamasaki stayed in the same hotel and for the last few days in Taipei, I was welcomed with a lobby filled with crazy fans that waited for hours just go get a glimpse of her. I joined the wait one night and after two hours, I decided to head back to the room for it seems that she will never come. It was on the last day while waiting for the limo to come pick us up then did I see her for a few seconds.
When I came back to homesweethome, I met up with the people whom I missed very much when I was away over BBQ at Shyams place.
Not that it would be better if I stayed in Singapore because most of them were away too. Amanda was in Laos, Shyam in India and Teoxu in Bintan.
It was so much fun seeing everybody and camwhoring with Lisa.
